Pengaruh Terapi Manual Terhadap Peningkatan Lingkup Gerak Sendi Pada Frozen Shoulder : Studi Literatur

Latar Belakang : Frozen shoulder atau yang biasa disebut dengan adhesive capsulitis merupakan suatu kondisi nyeri pada bahu dan mengakibatkan adanya keterbatasan lingkup gerak sendi (LGS). Terapi manual dianggap sebagai salah satu metode efektif yang dapat memulihkan dan memelihara serta meningkatkan lingkup gerak sendi bahu pada kasus frozen shoulder. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi manual terhadap lingkup gerak sendi pada frozen shoulder. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini berupa studi literatur dengan menggunakan analisis PICOT. Database yang digunakan berjumlah empat antara lain : PubMed, PEDro, Sage Journal dan Google Scholar. Setelah semua jurnal terkumpul dan telah dilakukan cek duplikasi hingga skrinning, dari 1618 jurnal menjadi 10 jurnal yang diterima dan dianalisis. Hasil : Pada penelitian studi literatur ini, peneliti telah melakukan pencarian dan seleksi artikel dari 1.618 judul menjadi 10 judul yang termasuk dalam kriteria inklusi dan memenuhi uji kelayakan. Dari sepuluh penelitian tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi pada kasus frozen shoulder. Kesimpulan : Penelitian pengaruh terapi manual terhadap peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi pada frozen shoulder telah dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur mendapatkan sepuluh jurnal yang telah lolos uji skrining dan kelayakan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi pada shoulder.
