Persepsi Komunikasi dan Akomodasi pada Mahasiswa yang Melaksanakan Interprofessional Education di Universitas Udayana

Abstract

Aim: to describe student’s perceptions of accommodation and communication while learning IPE during 4th and 6th semesters.

Method: this is an observational study. The total sample was 96 consisting of students in 4th and 6th semesters from 7 study programs at Udayana University. Perception was measured using the Indonesian version of the interprofessional collaboration scale (IPC) questionnaire.

Result: Perceptions of communication among 4th semester’s students showed 70.83% in medium, high, and very high categories, while in 6th semester students showed 89.58%. Meanwhile, the perception of accommodation in 4th semester’s students showed 72.91% in medium, high, and very high categories, while the 6th semesters showed 83.33%. Based on the result, 6th semester’s students has a higher percentage for the medium, high, and very high categories in both categories.  

Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the interprofessional collaboration scale questionnaire is valid and reliable. Observational studies showed that students in semester 6 have a tendency to better perception of communication and accommodation than semester 4.
