Abstract

Purpose: To identify what factors affect the interaction between physiotherapists and patients.

Method: The research method used in this article is to use a systematic review. Data collection was carried out by tracing, documenting, and reviewing all articles related to factors influencing interactions between physiotherapists and patients in the period 2015-2022 which were obtained from two databases, namely Google Scholar and PubMed.

Results: 10 articles met the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The articles obtained were from Indonesia (7 articles), Australia (1 article), America (1 article), and England (1 article).

Conclusion: There are several factors that can affect the interaction of physiotherapists with patients, including the size of the patient's family income, the patient's education level affects the interventions provided, the duration of patient treatment also affects physiotherapy services, insurance status, work experience of physiotherapists and the salary received by physiotherapists
