Hubungan Usia dan Jenis Kelamin dengan Resiko Jatuh Pada Lansia di Banjar Paang Tebel Peguyangan Kaja

Abstract

Objective: this study aims to determine the relationship between age and sex with the risk of falling in the elderly in Banjar Paang Tebel Peguyangan Kaja. Method: cross-sectional analytical observational study to determine the relationship between age and sex with the risk of falls in the elderly. The sample in this study amounted to 24 people who were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using the falls efficacy scale-international questionnaire to measure the risk of falling for the elderly. Results: analysis of the relationship between age and the risk of falling elderly with the somers'd test was obtained p=0.038 (p < 0.05) and the results of the analysis of the relationship between sex and the risk of falling with the somers'd test obtained p = 0.012 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between age and fall risk and there is a significant relationship between sex and the risk of falling elderly in Banjar Paang Tebel Peguyangan Kaja.
